Liana DiLauro is a Volunteer Peer Facilitator for Badger Supports. She helps support peer-to-peer connection through weekly peer support groups and other student-facing spaces. Through Badger Supports training, Liana develops skills in active listening, supportive conversation, and student-centered facilitation. In this role, she helps create welcoming spaces where Badgers can connect, feel heard, and support one another.
Liana is studying Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she has certificates in Social Justice and Education and Chicano/Latino studies. She is interested in pursuing a career in social work as a therapist, working for a non-profit or NGO, or becoming a psychologist.Β Β
Liana has recently become involved in ASM's Justice, Equity, and Belonging committee. She volunteers at a Food Pantry at the Social Justice center and has become passionate about volunteering for other social justice causes.Β
Outside of her academics, Liana loves working out almost every day, spending late nights with friends, and going thrifting when she has free time. She also enjoys reading outside of her required class readings!Β
