WHY: Overwhelmed, isolated, stressed. These are real emotions many of us feel as Badgers.
Peer Support Groups give you a steady space to be heard, to listen, and to connect with fellow students who understand what it means to thrive at UW.
WHAT: Every group starts with a simple check-in, moves into a low-pressure activity, and opens into authentic conversation about how life is going. You choose what to share, and your privacy is always respected.
HOW: Come as you are. We hope you leave feeling lighter, supported, and reminded that you belong here. No sign-ups, no requirements, only community.
Free, confidential, and open to all UW–Madison students.
Held on varying weekdays
Bracelets, vision boards, painting, bedazzling, & more!
Peer support groups are not a substitute for ongoing counseling and do not provide mental health treatment. Facilitators listen to shared concerns, support reflection and problem solving, and help participants experience what peer support can feel like in a supportive, student led setting.
Badger Supports value inclusion and access for all participants and are pleased to provide reasonable accommodations for any Badger Support Peer Support Group. Please contact accessibility@badgersupports.org to make a reasonable accommodation request. Requests should be made 3 days before any peer support group.
