Our Mission: At Badger Supports, we create a safe space for Badgers at UW-Madison to connect and find common ground. By supporting each other's student experience, we break the stigma, anxiety, stress, and doubt surrounding mental health and our lives as Badgers. We build a strong, supportive community rooted in shared understanding and care through peer-led workshops, drop-in groups, and craft nights.
Our Peer-Support Groups are designed to provide an accessible, inclusive, and confidential environment where students are encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences openly. All our groups are drop-in, meaning there are NO sign-ups, commitment, or stigma!
Our Peer Facilitators receive training in collaboration with UW-Madison's University Health Services and Mental Health Services. They are equipped to foster an atmosphere conducive to meaningful, honest, and personal dialogue characterized by empathy, respect, and safety.

We facilitate bi-weekly Craft-Nights, designed to provide fun and community building to our entire campus! Some of our favorites include bracelet making, air dry clay creations, nature walks, and canvas painting.

We collaborate with many other RSOs and campus units to further our mental health advocacy. Our mission truly comes to life through heartfelt collaboration with our friends, advisors, alumni, and family members. Together, we create a supportive and thriving community.
