Our Mission: At Badger Supports, we create a safe space for Badgers at UW-Madison to connect and find common ground. By supporting each other's student experience, we break the stigma, anxiety, stress, and doubt surrounding mental health and our lives as Badgers. We build a strong, supportive community rooted in shared understanding and care through peer-led workshops, drop-in groups, and craft nights.
Peer Support Groups offer a welcoming space to pause, reflect, and connect. Whether you come to talk, listen, or simply take a break, you are always welcome, no sign-ups, no expectations, no pressure. Each session begins with a gentle check-in, continues with a low-stress activity, and flows into open conversation about life at UW and the challenges that come with it.
Groups are led by trained Peer Facilitators. They create a space grounded in empathy, respect, and confidentiality, where students can share honestly and support one another.
If you are looking for a steady space to feel heard and belong, explore the schedule and find your group here.

Need a break from classes? Come to a Badger Supports Craft Night! Every other week we host fun, creative events where you can relax, meet new people, and make something cool—like bracelets, clay animals, or painted canvases.
No experience needed, no sign-ups required—just show up, hang out, and unwind with fellow Badgers.
