Our Mission: At Badger Supports, we create a safe space for Badgers at UW-Madison to connect and find common ground. By supporting each other's student experience, we break the stigma, anxiety, stress, and doubt surrounding mental health and our lives as Badgers. We build a strong, supportive community rooted in shared understanding and care through peer-led workshops, drop-in groups, and craft nights.
Badger Supports' Peer-Support Groups are open, drop-in spaces where students can share, listen, or simply be present, no sign-ups, no pressure. Groups are designed to be accessible, inclusive, and confidential, creating a supportive space to talk about life, stress, or whatever is on your mind.
Each group is led by trained Peer Facilitators, in collaboration with UWβMadisonβs University Health Services and Mental Health Services. Facilitators are prepared to guide open, respectful conversations grounded in empathy, trust, and care.

We facilitate bi-weekly Craft-Nights, designed to provide fun and community building to our entire campus! Some of our favorites include bracelet making, air dry clay creations, nature walks, and canvas painting.
