WHY: Overwhelmed, isolated, stressed. These are real emotions many of us feel as Badgers.Β
Badger Supports Peer Support Groups give you a steady space to be heard, to listen, and to connect with fellow students who understand what it means to thrive at UW.
WHAT: Every group starts with a simple check-in, moves into a low-pressure activity, and opens into authentic conversation about how life is going. You choose what to share, and your privacy is always respected.
HOW: Come as you are. We hope you leave feeling lighter, supported, and reminded that you belong here. No sign-ups, no requirements, only community.
Free, confidential, and open to all UWβMadison students.
Held on varying weekdays
Air-Dry Clay, Canvas Painting, Bracelet Making, and more!
Peer support groups are not a substitute for ongoing counseling and do not provide mental health treatment. Facilitators listen to shared concerns, support reflection and problem solving, and help participants experience what peer support can feel like in a supportive, student led setting.
