Madi Bakken is a Volunteer Peer Facilitator for Badger Supports. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and hopes to continue her education by earning a Master of Social Work. She is passionate about mental health, supporting others, and helping create spaces where students can feel connected and cared for.

Madi became involved with Badger Supports after attending its events and experiencing the welcoming community they provide. Her favorite event is Adopt a Plant Night because of her love for nature and plants. She appreciates how the event allows students to connect while creating a calm and peaceful environment.

Outside of Badger Supports, Madi enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She frequently hikes with her family at Governor Dodge State Park, reads books on her Kindle, and loves to bake—especially banana bread.
