Renovating for 2026-2027!
she/her - Class of 2029
Sresha Vellanki is a Volunteer Programs Coordinator and Peer Facilitator for Badger Supports. She joined Badger Supports because she wanted to use her experience coordinating and leading outreach events in a way that could positively impact students' mental health and help uplift the UW-Madison community.
Sresha is pursuing a B.S. in Psychology, with a certificate in Health and the Humanities. She is also on the pre-med track and hopes to be a physician specializing in neurology or psychiatry. Her academic interests reflect her passion for understanding the brain, mental health, and the social and emotional factors that can shape one's well-being.
Outside of Badger Supports, Sresha is involved in the Brain Exercise Initiative, where she works with Alzheimer’s patients, and serves as a research assistant in the Chadwick Lab, a social psychology lab focused on gender disparities in sexuality-related topics. These experiences have deepened her interest in mental health, advocacy, and community-centered care.
In her free time, Sresha enjoys cooking and baking new recipes, going for long walks along the Lakeshore Path, and taking frequent trips to the movie theater. She is also a huge linguaphile and loves exploring new languages!
