Nishita Kumar is a Peer Facilitator with Badger Supports, where she facilitates peer-support groups and campus workshops focused on mental health, active listening, and student well-being. 

Nishita is a Political Science Major on the Pre-Law track. She is also pursuing a Political Economy, Philosophy, and Politics certificate. She is especially interested in advocacy and supporting minority groups. 

Nishita learned about the importance of inclusivity while being the president of her high school’s Culture Club. Her goal is to make the mental health space inclusive for all. She is also passionate about volunteering. Nishita loves her two cats, listening to Sabrina Carpenter, and watching TV.
