she/hers - Class of 2026
Nora McCormick is a Peer Facilitator with Badger Supports, where she facilitates peer-support groups and campus workshops focused on mental health, active listening, and student well-being.
Nora is majoring in Psychology and Social Welfare with a certificate in Environmental Studies. She is especially interested in the intersection between climate change and mental health, and hopes to eventually pursue a career as a therapist. Nora has extensive experience working with children and families, and she joined Badger Supports because she wanted to find a way to make a tangible impact on her community here at UW-Madison. She is passionate about creating a campus community in which everyone feels safe to have open and honest conversations about mental health and hard feelings.
Nora is engaged on campus as an active member of the Wisconsin Track Club, and loves spending time with her friends. She loves reading, experiencing live music, and exploring Madison via its many coffee shops. You can usually find her at the Memorial Union Box Office, on the Terrace, or in the Social Work Library with her music up a little too loud.
