she/hers - Class of 2028
Ava Vik is a Peer Facilitator with Badger Supports, where she facilitates peer-support groups and campus workshops focused on mental health, active listening, and student well-being.
Ava is a Communication Arts major on the Rhetorical Studies track. She is also thinking of pursuing a certificate in Dance. Ava is interested in digital communications, as well as music, singing, and dance.
Ava joined Badger Supports because of her prior experience supporting peers and friends throughout her high school and current college experience. She has taken multiple Psychology courses and has found interest in topics related to the human mental health experience, as well as dealt with her own mental health struggles which has enabled her to have an open and understanding perspective.
Ava has participated in numerous musical groups during her lifetime, such as theatre, choir, a cappella, competitive dance, and even a costumed caroling group where they dressed in Victorian attire and caroled for their community. She has always found a home in the arts and loves to talk about it with others.
