Nishita Kumar is an Engagement Coordinator and Peer Facilitator for Badger Supports. She helps connect directly with students through tabling, classroom announcements, information sessions, outreach events, and other public engagement opportunities. In this role, Nishita shares information about Badger Supports’ programs, answers questions, and helps students find opportunities to get involved or receive support.

Nishita is a Political Science Major on the Pre-Law track. She is also pursuing a Political Economy, Philosophy, and Politics certificate. She is especially interested in advocacy and supporting minority groups. 

Nishita learned about the importance of inclusivity while being the president of her high school’s Culture Club. Her goal is to make the mental health space inclusive for all. She is also passionate about volunteering. Nishita loves her two cats, listening to Sabrina Carpenter, and watching TV.
