she/her - Class of 2029
Maya Gagliardi is the Director of Programs for Craft Nights and a Peer Facilitator for Badger Supports. She helps plan and run craft nights that give students a low-pressure space to connect, decompress, and feel supported. In this role, Maya designs activities that are welcoming to students of all skill levels and encourages conversation so participants can build community while creating something of their own.
Maya is a Psychology and Social Welfare major. She is hoping to pursue a masters in social work or marriage and family therapy, as she is interested in mental health, relationship/family dynamics, and helping others.
Maya has experience directing and coordinating events through roles as Vice President and Social Media manager of student council in high school. She developed skills regarding peer support through a summer internship at a day program for adults with diverse disabilities and involvement in Badger Supports.
She loves to spend her free time getting lost in a novel, exercising, and chatting with friends/family!
