James Egbert serves as the Associate Director for Technical Project Management at Badger Supports. They oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of technology and operations projects that enhance the organization’s infrastructure and student engagement systems. Their work focuses on streamlining digital tools, supporting cross-team collaboration, and ensuring that programs operate efficiently and align with Badger Supports’ mission. Previously, James was a peer leader at Badger Support Network, where they facilitated inclusive spaces for LGBTQIA+ students and students with disabilities.
At the University of Wisconsin Madison, they study Psychology and Computer Science, with an interest in developmental psychopathology, abnormal psychology, and neurodevelopment disabilities.
They are passionate about fostering a safe and supportive environment by integrating everyone's individual needs with the days activity. In addition to their academics they conduct research from quantum computing to identifying etiology of sensory integration deficits as well as crisis intervention via crisis text line. Outside of their academics they love exploring Madison, yoga, and trying out foods from around the world.
